March 12, 1999- UCLA gets beat by Detroit Tritans in the first round by a score of 53-56. There are several articles on the UCLA Bruins. Check them out below.

March 11, 1999- There are severall articles on the UCLA Bruins today from OCRegister, Daily Bruina and theLA Times.

March 10, 1999- The LA Times has a good article covering the many of the questions that this young Bruin squad along with Coach Lavin has to address in Big Questions Facing UCLA and you should also check out the OCregister article called UCLA Child's Play.

March 9, 1999- There are two articles on the Bruins from the OCregister and another article from a Freep.com. 

Baron Davis was named a 3rd team All-American by the Associated Press. You can find the list of team members  at CNN/Sports Illustrated: All-American team.

March 8, 1999- There are several articles on the Bruins in the NCAA Tournament.

March 7, 1999- UCLA gets the #5 seed in the South of the NCAA Tournament. They will play against Detroit.

March 6, 1999- Baron Davis 21 points couldn't stop the Wildcats as they roll over UCLA by 17 in a 87-70 victory. Read recap from the LA Times Bruins Stub Momentum in the Desert or the OCRegister Arizona delivers Payback after its early loss at  UCLA.

Baron Davis was named on the All-PAC 10 Team along with PAC-10 Player of the Year Jason Terry.  Earl Watson received honorable mention.  JaRon Rush and Dan Gadzuric was named on the PAC-10 All Freshmen Team.

Earl Watson is becoming a vocal leader for the Bruin young squad.  Read more about it in "Earl Watson: A Vocal Leader on the Court."

March 5, 1999- You should read "Conversation with Baron Davis" a interview by ABC Sports.

March 4, 1999- Earl Watson led the Bruins with 21 points while Baron Davis hit the 3-point winner basket from 22 feet out for a 68-65 victory.  Read recap by the LA Times, OCRegister and Daily Bruin. You should also check out the OCRegister article UCLA's Davis Bombs ASU.

March 3, 1999- UCLA Kansas players JaRon Rush and Earl Watson will play in tomorrow's game against Arizona St.  Read more about it in the (Ed note: very small) LA Times article here. Daily Bruin has two articles on the Bruins. They are Basketball Briefs and an article on the lone Senior Brandon Loyd called "Stepping Behind the Line."

March 2, 1999- The OCRegister has an article on Baron Davis and his decision on going pro called "Is Baron rarin' to go?"
